These pouches were issued and used in the field, so they will show signs of wear such as fading, scuffs or minor stains from service. The USGI MOLLE II canteen/utility pouch is one of the most versatile pouches from the early MOLLE II system.

  • Designed for a 1-quart military canteen
    Built around the standard USGI 1 QT canteen and cup setup, with retention straps that fit around the neck of the canteen.
  • General-purpose utility capability
    The pouch can also carry:
    • stripped-down MREs
    • five M16/M4 magazines
    • PVS-7/PVS-14 NVGs
    • medical supplies
    • loose field gear

  • Dual MOLLE attachment straps
    Mounts securely to MOLLE II rucks, FLCs, belts, chest rigs, or assault packs using rear MOLLE straps with snap fasteners.
  • Quick-release buckle closure
    Large front buckle allows quick access while keeping contents secure during movement.
  • Internal drawstring retention collar
    Helps secure the canteen or loose gear inside the pouch.
  • Two small exterior side pockets
    Intended for water purification tablets, matches, batteries, fishing kits, or first-aid items.
  • Drainage grommet
    Metal drain hole at the bottom lets water and debris escape.

Sizing Charts

To measure chest size: Measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by 2. For example-if you measured 20in between your armpits, and multiplied by 2, that would give you a 40in chest measurement. You would need to purchase a size medium.

To measure pants size: Waist- Lay down a well-fitting pair of pants and measure from one side of the waist to the other and multiply by 2. Inseam- Measure starting from the crotch seam intersection and go down the inner leg seam to the bottom of the hem. Reference these measurements with the chart.

To measure hat size: Measure the circumference of your head slightly above your ears. Reference your measurement with the above chart.

When purchasing a jacket or Gore-Tex pants you may want to size up if you plan on wearing layers underneath.
